At Journal Me, we respect your privacy and are committed to giving you control over your personal data. In accordance with Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy and general data protection principles (including GDPR), you may request deletion of your personal data at any time.

What Data We Store

When you use JournalMe through WhatsApp, we may store:

• Your WhatsApp contact information (phone number, name)
• Your journaling entries (text-based content you send)
• Your interaction history (prompt preferences, mute settings, etc.)
• Analytics data (non-personally identifiable)

All data is securely stored and encrypted in our systems.

How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your personal data, please send an email to: hello@journalme.co

Subject: Data Deletion Request

Please include the phone number you used to access the JournalMe service so we can identify your account.

What Happens Next

1. We will confirm your request within 7 business days.
2. Your data—including journal entries, preferences, and contact info—will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
3. You will receive confirmation once the deletion is complete.

Note: After deletion, we cannot recover your journal entries or settings.
